Early Season Update

Hi Folks,

Well it’s taken a while but my season is about to start in earnest next week. Despite attaining my Asian Tour Card in Thailand in January, as a fist timer on this tour I don’t get into all events especially the Co-Sanctioned Tournaments. However, events are coming up thick and fast now and I’m looking forward to getting stuck in.

I start in Nairobi (Kenya) next week which is a Challenge Tour event and then move on to Jakarta (Indonesia) for my first Asian Tour start. From there I return to Europe and the Challenge Tour for a few weeks. I’m really looking forward to playing the BMW at Wentworth 21st-24th May. This will be by far the biggest event I’ve played in and I’m hoping to make an impact. I would like to say a big thanks to Paul Mc Ginley who gave me so much of his time on my recent visit to Wentworth. With his packed schedule and current commitments, he was so welcoming and helpful to a rookie like me.  I really enjoyed my day with him, thanks again Paul.

All going well I go straight from Wentworth to the Irish Open in Royal County Down on 28th-31st May, so a busy time all round. I have also been informed that I’ve qualified for the British Masters in Woburn, Oct 8th-11th. This is a massive tournament with a big purse so here’s hoping. So it’s a big year on the horizon. I would once again like to thank everyone who has enquired about my progress either directly or through my family and friends. Your support is so important to me and helps greatly.

Hopefully my next blog will reflect some points on the board and money in the bank.

Yours in Golf
