HI

I have been extremely fortunate to grow up in what is probably the most exiting yet most competitive golf era for generations. In my amateur career I crossed swords with Rory Mcllroy and Shane Lowry and later stood shoulder to shoulder with both men while representing Ireland internationally. They remain my good friends and I am delighted to see them both do so well.

As a graduate of the GUI (Golf Union of Ireland) I was privileged to be under the wing of a fantastic organisation which moulded my early career and laid the foundations for a life in the professional ranks. The ethics and discipline learned while in their care has been a corner stone in my development, not only as a golfer but as a person.

By any standards I had a successful amateur career with victories at practically every level and was fortunate to turn over the two luminaries above on a few occasions. Stand out victories would include The Irish Boys Championship, South of Ireland Championship, The Nassau Invitational (USA) and The Brabazon Trophy which secured my position as the only Irishman on the 2009 Walker Cup Team

My professional career is rising steadily with incremental progress made on the European Challenge Tour over the past four years. While most of my golf is played on the Challenge Tour, I have also managed to play a good deal on the Irish PGA Tour. 2014 was significant for me as I have managed to win the prestigious Irish PGA Championship at Adare Manor GC, the PGA Playoffs at Sultan GC Turkey and the Moran Cup at my home club Royal Dublin. I also capturing the PGA Tour order of merit off the back of this success. This has opened doors for me going into 2015 including automatic entry into the BMW PGA Championship as well as many other events. I travelled to Asia and won my Asian Tour card for the 2015 season which promises to add more variety to my 2015 schedule.

I feel that my game is now in great shape and I look forward to the next couple of years with great confidence. I work extremely hard on all aspects of my game and observe a rigorous training and diet routine. I am determined to take my game to the next level and beyond and believe that my discipline and dedication will get me there.

Many thanks for taking time to read this and looking forward to speaking with you in the short term.

Yours in Golf
Niall Kearney
