Oh so close! I have to say that I was shocked not to proceed to final stage after my performance in Lumine GC at second stage. I played solid if not spectacular stuff for the first 3 days and put myself in pole position heading into day 4. I just failed to keep the hammer down in closing stages and with the cut line moving an unprecedented 4 shots on the final day I finished 2 shots shy of the mark. Lesson learned, in this arena nothing can be taken for granted. Pleased with myself that I was able to take positives from performance onto next tournament despite obvious disappointment. The standard is just so high out here now, protecting a score is not an option.
