Moran Cup

However long my career is fortunate to stretch, it’s trophies like the Moran Cup that I will truly cherish. Winning on home soil surrounded by fellow players and well wishers from Royal Dublin, it is humbling to have my name along side the greats on this historic cup.

The Moran Cup was first held in 1920 to honour the legendary 5-time Irish PGA Champion golfer Michael Moran. Michael Dyke Moran was born in Curleys Yard where the green keepers complex now sits in 1886. He joined the Irish Horse regiment of the British Army in 1916 and was mortally wounded two years later aged 32
