Final Report 2015

Hi folks,

A belated Happy Christmas to you all and once again many thanks for all your support in 2015. It goes without saying that my career would not be possible without support of all kinds. The support I get from you guys is invaluable as I navigate my way through each year and it is much appreciated. Alongside that I have to pay a huge debt of gratitude to my sponsors as they literally make it possible for me to compete at all levels across the world on a yearly basis. Without their support it would simply not be possible. I only hope that I can repay their faith in me in the future. So to Zurich Ireland Rabo Direct Royal Dublin GC Clubs to Hire Hutton and Meade Grant Thornton,

Many, many thanks for all your support. This allows me to plan my year more effectively knowing that I have funds in place. My current status means that I could appear on any of 3 or 4 tours as the year progresses. 2015 was a breakthrough year for me in many ways with solid form throughout. From securing my Asian Tour Card last January, to competing well in Wentworth and going on to finish 25th at The British Masters in Woburn on The European Tour. Onwards then to solid performances on the Challenge Tour and then some great times on the Irish region culminating in a record breaking 14 shot victory in defending the Irish PGA Championship at 22 under par at a challenging Dundalk GC layout. Add to that a pivotal performance in the PGA cup in Cordevale GC, California where I managed to sink the winning putt for GB&I! All in all a great year and progress made. I have worked extremely hard on my golf for many years now and it’s very satisfying to see great results starting to show. I’m hoping for even greater things in 2016 and setting the bar higher for myself continually.

On that note I return to Tour School in Asia this coming week to try and improve my status for the coming year. It looks like 2016 will be another busy year split between Asia and Europe. Asian Tour School is a 2 week stint incorporating 8 rounds. Really looking forward to getting back into the competitive arena after the Christmas break back in Ireland. So it’s Royal Springfield GC  next week for the 1st stage and all going well it’s Springfield and Lakeview GC for the final stage.

So it’s all to play for folks and I’m really looking forward to it. I wish you all a happy and healthy new year and look forward to meeting up in the coming months

Yours in Golf

Niall
